Wow. It's been a few months since my last post…oops! I've been having a blast shooting weddings, lifestyle and portraits these past few months, here's a small snippet!
After Melissa and Ryan's wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake a few months ago, I was contacted by the editors of UK publication MollieMakes. They let me know that the magazine was going to launch a wedding focused magazine, and wanted to feature Melissa and Ryan's wedding! I am so flattered that they chose one of my all-time favorite images for the cover shot. If you're interested in the print version, you can pick that up at Michael's. Otherwise, check out the e-magazine here.
Melissa and Ryan were a dream to work with! Here are some more images from the day. Big thanks to Heidi Ryder for assisting!
I was pretty surprised when I found out that I would have an image in the May issue of Better Homes and Gardens. The lovely, Jordan Reid, was one of three bloggers chosen to talk about her favorite cleaning products. The profile photo they chose to feature in the article was one I took of her and her adorable family last year. I didn't receive photo credit, which is unfortunate, but I am just so happy to see one of my images in print!
Karmah and Dan's wedding was truly a community event. So many family and friends came together to make the wedding a joyous and unforgettable event. Karmah's aunt did all of the florals, another friend harvested the produce for the guest gifts of avocados and citrus fruits, another hand painted and wrote each seating card...The list is endless. During the ceremony they opened a bottle of wine given to them at the winery where they got engaged. Every moment of Karmah and Dan's wedding had meaning. And even during the first dance, when the power went out, their guests serenaded them with the final verses of their song, "Can't help falling in love with you" by Elvis Presley. The property was gorgeous with sprawling vineyards and farm animals providing endless entertainment. Arista Winery is one of their favorite vineyards to visit with friends, so it was more than fitting for their wedding.
Their wedding was recently published on 7x7 SF Magazine.
It's always exciting when your work gets featured on some amazing blogs! Here are some recent features from the last few weeks!
Tami and Gregg's engagement session was featured on Ever Ours!
My first time featured on On to Baby with Jenny's maternity session.
I love VSCO Film, and was recently selected in their May selects for my photo of jellyfish.
And because no post should go without a pretty photo, here is a recent image from a session shot in San Francisco with lovely light!
I was in New York a few weeks ago, visiting friends, enjoying the lovely weather, and of course shooting like crazy! I spent a warm Sunday afternoon with Tami and Gregg in Central Park. Both Tami and Gregg are from Southern California, but have lived in the city for over four years. They met while on Birthright in Israel five years ago, and it's been love ever since. I knew they'd be a perfect couple to model for engagement photos, and I was not disappointed! Lucky for them, they have Braedon Flynn as their wedding photographer, and I can't wait to see what magic he produces.
